Amazing Glazing

A few weeks ago we got together and one of our members showed us the glaze tests she’d been making over the last year, as well as explaining a bit about the science of the glaze materials. It was not only interesting, but educational, and she has made very beautiful glazes through experimentation.

The test tiles themselves are very pleasing to look at and hold

This shows some tests that weren’t so great, and the test at the end is when the glaze was rebalanced, and looks great.
