Open Doors 2017 – some photos

We at the Bridge Pottery Collective took part in the Edinburgh Pallette’s Open Doors Weekend 2017 on 21 and 22 October – and we had a blast. Not only was it great to have visitors who have never been in that big building on London Road before, we also had a chance to meet so many of the other brilliant artists who are, like us, residents of St. Margaret’s House.

We focused on showing and selling our own work, demonstrating wheel-throwing and also set up a fun mosaic workshop, with workshops for both adults and children.

It was a great day out for lots of people. You are able to see so much for free, and for many it was also a chance to get a head start with Christmas shopping. All of us here highly recommend coming next time!

Below are some pictures of this weekend.
